SPOTSET is a second generation unwired radio network.

SPOTSET, formerly Mid-South Media, founded by the late Bob Chism in Memphis, TN, became the nation's premier provider of small market radio networks for clients such as: Dollar General Stores, Revco Drugs, Trac Supply Company and hundreds of political candidates since 1976.

Howard Robertson, CEO of Trust Marketing Inc. and a veteran in radio and television sales, became intrigued with Mid-South Media and later bought the company in 1996.

In late 1999, Howard sat down with Reginald Cohran (a long-time childhood friend) and discussed a new business model and vision for Midsouth Media. Cohran, a Senior Systems Programmer and Software Developer, designed and developed the Spotset Management Information System. Later in 2000 SPOTSET was launched.

Today, SPOTSET sells millions of dollars of radio spots to clients including: the nation's largest radio advertisers, state lotteries, governmental agencies, US Military, pro sports athletes/teams, and political candidates and issues.
